Celebrating the lives of the departed

At our service this Sunday, November 1, we will celebrate the lives of people who have passed on — both those we know personally and those in the public eye who have died since last year. Our minister, the Reverend Frieda Gillespie, asks that you bring pictures of loved ones for the altar. Her sermon, [...]

Church hikers explore Lynn Woods

A group of hikers (and three dogs) from the Northshore Church hit the trail on Sunday, October 11, exploring the Lynn Woods on a perfect fall day. Unfortunately, the cave at Dungeon Rock was not open, which disappointed the kids as well as the adults. Nevertheless, there was plenty to see and do.

The church and the food pantry thank the farm’s owner, Bob Connors, for his generosity.
