Are we ready to rock? Are you ready for the blues? Do you like a cappella music?
In 2011-’12 we are continuing the successful Music in the Woods concert series at the Northshore UU Church. We are again bringing different forms of music to our church for concerts once a month for the entire year.
We will be starting with a dance party to the rollicking New Orleans sound of the Squeezebox Stompers on Friday, September 30, at 7:30 p.m. Favorite performers at NSUU, the Stompers play a blend of roadhouse roots, blues, Cajun, and zydeco music that really gets your toes tapping.
Music in the Woods is open to the entire community. If you have never visited NSUU before, please click here for a map and directions.
We feature different styles of music. We will have a cappella groups, piano duets, jazz, zydeco, and pops. Please come and enjoy, and spread the word about Music in the Woods at NSUU.
