Church member Amy Tedford will speak this Sunday, August 2, on “The Feast of Lughnasadh.”
The service will examine the ancient Feast of the First Harvest (also called Lammas in the Christian calendar) and its meaning in today’s world of shipped-from-everywhere produce demanded by our desire for out-of-season fruits and vegetables.
The service will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by coffee and fellowship at about 11:30. Child care is available, and visitors are always welcome. (Our lay-led summer services continue through September 6. Regular services and religious education resume on September 13.)
