Our first service of the 2009-’10 church year will be held this Sunday, September 13, at 10:30 a.m. Although we have been holding lay-led services throughout the summer, this Sunday’s service, for many, marks a homecoming of sorts.
The theme of the service will be “Water, Water, Everywhere …” Our minister, the Reverend Frieda Gillespie, will offer reflections on a new beginning as she starts the second year of her ministry at Northshore.
“What harvest will we enjoy from the seeds we planted last year?” she asks. “What hopes do you have for this year?”
Please bring water from your travels and adventures to share and blend with our church community.
This Sunday also marks the resumption of our Religious Education Program. We offer a nursery for the youngest children and programs through high school. If you have been considering paying us a visit, this would be an ideal time.
The service will end at about 11:30, followed by coffee and fellowship. Visitors are always welcome.
