Reflections on morality without religion

Can we be moral, ethical people in the absence of an orthodox view of religion?

“Good Without God” is the very descriptive name of a book about humanism by Greg Epstein. Audrey and Harry Bedell, winners of the auction sermon, recommended it to our minister, the Reverend Frieda Gillespie, who will deliver a sermon on the topic this Sunday, June 13.

The service will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by coffee and fellowship at about 11:30. Child care and religious-education classes are offered, and visitors are always welcome.
