Northshore UU Church member Beth Blanchard will speak on the topic of “Lifelong Learning” this Sunday, August 8, at our weekly lay-led summer service. Beth explains:
What does learning mean to you? Would you consider yourself to be a lifelong learner? Or do you feel the saying “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks” applies? What is the connection between creativity and learning? In essence, I believe that lifelong learning is what keeps us alive and vital. We’ll explore learning and the conditions that are necessary to promote it.
The service will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by coffee and fellowship at about 11:30. Our regular Sunday services will resume on Sunday, September 12, at which time our Religious Education Program and child care will once again be offered.
