This Sunday: A Quaker-style silent service

Our last Sunday service of the summer, August 29, will be a Quaker-style silent service, to be led by our minister, the Reverend Frieda Gillespie. Since this is not our tradition, Reverend Frieda will share some brief writings about this practice so we might understand it better. Then we will have our own silence together and deeper sharing. The service will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by coffee and fellowship at about 11:30.

Please note that there will be no service next Sunday, September 5. Our regular Sunday services will resume on Sunday, September 12, at which time our Religious Education Program and child care will once again be offered.
