This Sunday’s service: “Where Is Paradise?”

This Sunday, January 2, the Reverend Frieda Gillespie will deliver the first of a series of sermons titled “UU 101” about progressive religion and the perspective of Unitarian Universalism. She will begin with “Where Is Paradise?”

One of the most basic questions that all religions provide answers for is “What happens when we die?” Reverend Frieda will address the concept of an afterlife and how we think about death.

The service will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by coffee and fellowship at about 11:30. Child care and religious education classes are offered.

Visitors are always welcome at Northshore UU Church. With Reverend Frieda exploring some of the most basic matters of our liberal faith, you might find that this is an especially good time to see what we’re all about.
