This Sunday’s service: “Our history with racism”

Please join us this Sunday as our minister, the Reverend Frieda Gillespie, continues with her series of sermons titled “UU 101.” This Sunday, January 16, Reverend Frieda will discuss “Our History with Racism.” She explains:

In many ways Unitarians and Universalists have been at the forefront of abolitionist and civil rights movements, and in other ways we have contributed to the general supremacist notions that have so often prevailed. In honor of Martin Luther King Day, we’ll explore that history and where we can go from here.

Our service will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by coffee and fellowship at about 11:30. Child care and religious education classes are offered, and visitors are always welcome.
