Easter will be celebrated with two special services

Please join us on Easter Sunday, April 24, which we will celebrate with two special services.

The first will begin at 5:45 a.m. at Lynch Park in Beverly, and will be presided over by our minister, the Reverend Frieda Gillespie, and the Reverend Kelly Asprooth-Jackson, minister of the First Parish Church in Beverly. Meet at the far side of the rose garden where it looks out over the ocean. From the parking lot follow the paved path to the rose garden on the left. There will be benches for some people to sit, and a potluck breakfast will follow. Bring breakfast foods or drinks to share. The service will be held rain or shine.

Following the sunrise service, Reverend Frieda will return to the Northshore Church in Danvers, where our Easter service, titled “Resurrecting Our Life,” will begin at 10:30 a.m. “We must resurrect our life periodically in order to stay awake and alive,” Frieda says. “This involves dying to the old and allowing the emergence of the new.”

There will be an Easter egg hunt following the service.
