This Sunday’s service: “Lessons from the Control Tower”

The first of our lay-led summer services will be held this Sunday, July 10, featuring a talk by church member Jennifer Revill on “Life Lessons from the Control Tower.”

“Most of us don’t think much about air traffic control; and when we do, it’s usually only when we hear about something going wrong,” Jennifer says. “Perhaps we should consider the world of air traffic control as a paradigm for how life should be lived.” She will offer some reflections and a “view from the tower” based on her 25 years of work at the airport.

The service will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by coffee and fellowship at 11:30. Religious education classes will resume in the fall. Visitors are always welcome.
