This Sunday’s service: “Before the Song at the Sea”

Matt Meyer, left, performing at the 2005 General Assembly of the Unitarian Universalist Association in Fort Worth, Texas.

Percussionist Matt Meyer will provide an exciting and dynamic morning at our weekly service this Sunday, September 25. Matt is knowledgeable and experienced in a variety of styles, including Latin, jazz, Brazilian, folk, funk, hip-hop, and pop. He is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music.

The service, which will begin at 10:30 a.m., is titled “Before the Song at the Sea.” After the service, starting at about 11:30, Matt will offer a family-friendly drumming workshop for about an hour. There will be a suggested donation of $10 for the workshop, seniors $5, and children free.  Bringing your own percussion instrument is fine but not required. If not, just come, as Matt brings lots of instruments with him.

The Northshore UU Church offers a full Religious Education Program as well. Visitors are always welcome.
