October 11 was National Coming Out Day. During our service this Sunday, October 16, we’ll explore coming out as a sacred rite of passage for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and their allies. We’ll also talk about other ways that each of us can take steps towards greater authenticity in our lives.
Our service leader will be acting minister Jen Dillinger, M.Div. Inspired by stories of coming out, as well as by music from the Indigo Girls.
The service will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed at 11:30 by coffee and fellowship, and then by our multi-generational Religious Education Program, which will be held from noon to 12:45 p.m. Visitors are always welcome.
