Our guest speaker this Sunday, October 23, will be Dana Doyle, whose topic is “Being Vegan: The Story of a Reluctant Activist.” She will talk about becoming a vegan and the social issues that surround it in everyday life.
This is a rescheduled presentation — Dana was supposed to speak on August 28, but her talk was canceled because of Tropical Storm Irene. So if you were disappointed then, this is a great chance to learn more about veganism.
The service will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed at 11:30 by coffee and fellowship, and then by our multi-generational Religious Education Program, which will be held from noon to 12:45 p.m. Visitors are always welcome.
