This Sunday, January 22, the Reverend Frieda Gillespie’s sermon will be on the topic of “Living the Simple Life.” She explains:
I suspect many of you are far ahead of me when it comes to living the simple life. The reality of global warming and its relationship to our consumption of fossil fuels and materials make it imperative that we reduce our carbon footprint. The obstacles to this can be surprising; at least they are to me.
The service will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by coffee and fellowship at about 11:30. Our multi-generational Religious Education Program follows from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Visitors are always welcome.
