Regular services for the 2011-’12 church year will end this Sunday, June 17, with a few special touches. “Let’s reflect on the church year and think ahead to where we’re going,” says our minister, the Reverend Frieda Gillespie.
During the service, which will begin at 10:30 a.m., we will celebrate with a flower communion. Please bring a flower to share with someone else.
After the service, from 11:30 to 1, we will hold a church picnic — outside if the weather allows for it, inside if not. We were originally scheduled to hold our picnic on June 2 at Endicott Park, but unfortunately it was rained out.
There will be no Sunday services on June 24 or July 1. The first of our lay-led summer services will be held on July 8.
Visitors are always welcome.
