This Sunday’s service: “Finding the Holy in the Hard Times”

“We are not human beings on a spiritual journey; we are spiritual beings on a human journey.” Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

This human life is full of joys and celebrations that remind us of its blessings. But what about the times that are not as joyous? The times when life is all but unbearable, the times in which this human journey seems the farthest thing from a blessing? Where is the holy in the hard times?

“Finding the Holy in the Hard Times” will be the theme of our weekly service this Sunday, June 2. The service leader and speaker will be Ashley Murphy, our Director of Religious Exploration.

The service will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by coffee and fellowship at about 11:30. Religious education is provided, and visitors are always welcome.
