This Sunday, February 2, will mark the Reverend Frieda Gillespie’s third attempt to deliver this sermon on the life of Jesus, as previous attempts were cut short by snow and a burst pipe in the church.
Some of the latest thinking about Jesus as a historical figure makes sense. A different picture emerges from the one that is celebrated at Christmas and Easter, but one that we might find more interesting, or relevant for other reasons.
The service will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by coffee and fellowship at about 11:30. Religious education classes for children and youth are offered, and visitors are always welcome.
