This week’s service: “Affluenza”

Recently a young man was spared prison for his role in a fatal car accident because of “affluenza,” the sense of entitlement that comes with wealth. Does wealth shape a person’s personality? What ways are we entitled?

The Reverend Frieda Gillespie will address that topic at our service this Sunday, March 16. The service will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by coffee and fellowship at about 11:30. Religious education classes for children and youth are offered, and visitors are always welcome.

The collection will be donated to the Danvers Food Pantry. If you wish to donate by check, please make the check out to Danvers Food Pantry. To augment our food donations to the pantry, we have elected to share the plate this month.
