Anne will share with us a story interspersed with songs that tell the story of how she overcame despair and overwhelm and found a place in the climate movement. Anne will join us for a question and answer session after the service.
Anne Goodwin is a seasoned performer on the New England folk scene who lends her voice to the climate movement as a grassroots activist song leader. She is a lifelong Unitarian Universalist and her home congregation is in Arlington, Massachusetts. She created the Sing-In for Climate Justice, and leads songs as part of her practice of the Work That Reconnects, and for rallies and meetings with Mothers Out Front and elsewhere.
