Yom Kippur follows Rosh Hashanah, the start of the Jewish New Year. This holiest day of the Jewish year emphasizes the religious practice of atonement and repentance. We will explore lessons Unitarian Universalists can learn from Jewish wisdom about the renewal of spirit and making amends. In the process, we’ll consider the Unitarian Universalist practice of making covenants among one another. Our guest musicians for this service will be Trombones 4 Revolution.
