Guest Speaker and Musician: Marshunda Smith
Marshunda is a conductor, cellist and teacher whose roots are in Memphis but who now calls the North Shore home. She started cello in 6th grade and received her degree from University of Tennessee. She discovered her love of conducting while teaching high school and went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Conducting. She is the current conductor of the Lowell Symphony Orchestra and the Cherry Hill Chamber Orchestra.
