History
Acknowledgements
This bicentennial history of the formation of the Northshore Unitarian Universalist Church is, of course, the work of many dedicated contributors. First and foremost, we owe our gratitude to Salem historian Bonnie Hurd Smith for the lion’s share of organization and writing; without her this material would still be in file drawers and boxes. Thanks to our NSUU Church Historian Dottie Barton, our Church Administrator Nancy Paskowski, and the Danvers Town Archivist Richard B. Trask, the material for Bonnie’s work had been actually saved (in those file drawers and boxes). Thanks to our past ministers and current members, Rev. Charles L. Wilson and Rev. (Emeritus) Edwin C. Lynn, who have kept the story alive. And to all the past and current congregations, who have kept the church alive for two hundred years, we offer our deepest gratitude.
